A look at RPG cinematics
Some jokes for you to laugh @
If anyone has ever played Atari in the early 80s, then he/she would know how far technology has improved the gameplay and enjoyability for video games.
RPG Cinematics - Movies that are shown between gameplay to enhance the visual aspect. While most video games saw a quantuam leap in that direction, it was the role playing games (RPG) that utilize this new technology most. And what are we exactly talking about? Well, the Final Fantasy Series (Products of Squaresoft) is a good example.
Although I am not an avid video game player, I'm captivated by the astounding digital effects that are put into the game itself. To me, each time they release a new version of the FF series, I would be almost the first one to grab it. In short, they had me "hooked"!
I'm sorry I can't show you any of those cinematics as they are pretty huge files (some even exceeding 30MB for a mere 5 minutes of self-indulgence). But if you are just as crazy as me over those cinematics, then hit over to FF8 Extreme where they have a large repository of mpeg and mov files relating to FF8.
But I'm sure you are not here to listen to me rave about my passion for cinematics, so to make your trip unwasted, check out some of my FFVIII links below. Enjoy yourself!
