F.COMPO or Family COMPO is a story about a guy named Masahiko who went to live with his relatives after the death of his father (His mother died when he was young). Ever since the loss of his parents, Masahiko has been yearning for a normal family life. His wish came true one day when his "aunt"

This mini-website is created as a tribute to one of the best comic ever written. The author is Hojo Tsukasa. Yup, he's the same guy who wrote "The City Hunter" (Comic series that span 35 books) which won him international fame. Although all his works are astoundingly good, I find F.COMPO to be the one with the most refreshing storyline. It was "love at first sight" and I found myself hooked onto the story.

came to invite him over to stay with them. However, things are not that straightforward as he imagines as his aunt and uncle are actually playing opposite roles. His aunt by physical aspects is a man while his uncle is a woman.

To add on to it, there's his beautiful cousin, Shion whom Masahiko suspects to be a guy despite "her" feminine side.All this makes Masahiko very puzzled and disturbed and he even thought of leaving the family to lead his own life. Yet he eventually stays on, touched by the love and concern the family is showing him.

 

F.COMPO is a story about family life that's revolved around Masahiko and his relatives. Although Masahiko is the main character in this story, all the other characters have remarkable depth. In fact, there are certain scenes in which the main character, Masahiko only plays a minor role. The author did a marvellous job of developing all the characters to ensure that no one is left out or left stagnant.

Being a family life story, this comic series is definitely not for those who are after swordfighting or crime-busting action. The author did not create any heroes in this story as everyone has their strengths and flaws. Masahiko being the main character, is also subjected to setbacks and is in fact being portrayed as a caring yet vulnerable personality. To me, this is also the selling point for the story.

For those who prefer comics that combine humor with touching moments, F.COMPO is definitely for you.
